TransUnion and Kwiff strengthen fraud prevention
App-based gaming operator Kwiff is extending its partnership with TransUnion to further strengthen its innovative gaming platform.
TransUnion is providing consumer-friendly identity-checking and age-verification services to Kwiff through its CallValidate solution, helping the operator to maintain a seamless customer experience whilst minimising the risk of fraud and supporting responsible gaming.
The announcement comes as Kwiff prepares for international expansion into new markets in the second half of 2020. TransUnion’s global capabilities will be on hand to support Kwiff’s dynamic plans, with its identity solutions available in more than 135 countries worldwide.
Mike Goode, chief financial officer at Kwiff commented: “Our partnership with TransUnion enhances our commitment to placing our customers at the very heart of our business, and protecting their interests whilst providing them with personalised customer service. As an innovator in our field we seek out the most comprehensive and cutting-edge solutions to meet our business needs and we regard this as an important milestone in our journey as we prepare to replicate the success we’ve seen in the UK in other global markets.”
Adam Hancox, head of gaming for TransUnion in the UK and Europe said: “To support responsible gaming, it’s essential that the operator knows who their customers are and takes all possible steps to prevent fraud. We’re delighted to be supporting Kwiff with our fraud and identity verification solution which helps to safeguard players whilst maintaining operational efficiencies, delivering a smooth customer journey and following anti-money laundering regulation.”
TransUnion’s CallValidate solution is used by leading operators in online gaming and many other business sectors and can be configured to suit the individual business’ needs. It captures and validates customer identity, and risk assesses digital identity attributes such as email and device, whilst simultaneously checking payment card or bank account details to link them to their real owner.
