eCOGRA expands North America services

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has formally registered eCOGRA as an Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) allowing the compliance testing organisation to provide independent certification to online gambling operators and suppliers that offer services in Ontario.

The ITL recognition positions eCOGRA among the first testing agencies to have satisfied the stringent due diligence requirements of AGCO in terms of independence, technical capabilities, industry experience and personnel suitability.

Commenting on the approval, eCOGRA Technical Compliance Manager and in-house legal counsel Maria Flack-Davison said the regulatory review process was professional, in-depth and one of the most evolved that she has experienced.

Chief Executive Officer Shaun McCallaghan added the Ontario approval is integral to eCOGRA’s strategic plans for globally expanding its certification activities, and the enterprise remains committed to servicing its clients in each of the regulated markets where they choose to license their online gambling products.

“This is the thirtieth online gambling jurisdiction to acknowledge our suitability as a testing agency, which widens our value to clients and strengthens our service abilities. We continue to act as a testing partner to a large percentage of the industry’s major online gambling operators and software suppliers, licensed across multiple jurisdictions,” he said.

eCOGRA offers a superior and turnkey solution that is supported by a team of over 120 highly motivated, experienced and qualified full-time staff. Its client portfolio includes many of the industry’s leading gambling operators and suppliers such as 888, bet365, Betsson, Betway, Danske Spil, Entain, Gaming1, Kaizen Gaming, Kindred, Microgaming, Quickspin, Relax Gaming and Thunderkick to name a few.
